10 Year Celebration Day!
On Thursday 16th July 2020; we will be holding a family celebration day at pre-school, to celebrate that Ladybirds Porchester has been operating for 10 years!
Pre-school will be closed for normal sessions but will be open for children/parents/family members to come together and join in the activities we have planned.
The day will be 9-3pm, with the visiting farm in the morning, a dancing session with Dinky Dancers and an afternoon session with the fabulous Mike the Storyteller. We will break for lunch at 12.00, for a picnic in the garden (please bring picnic and blankets) We will also have a celebration cake to share with you and will document the day for the Daily Echo.
We hope you will all be able to join us for this day; we are so proud of our achievements and could not have done 10 years without the wonderful support from all our families. Thank you. (more details to follow)
We are very excited to be involved with Dinky Dancers and Buttercup Care home intergenerational dancing sessions. We will be taking a small group of children each half term to join in sessions with the care home residents. Each Monday this term we will have sessions within pre-school. Please look out on Tapestry for required consent and any help you can offer.
What to bring to pre-school?
Please can you ensure your child comes with a named bag, a full change of clothes, hat/gloves and a coat. If your child wears nappies, please can you provide nappies, wipes & nappy bags to change them.
Invoices for lunch club or session fees are due in advance, we can accept cash or cheques or direct bank payments. Please keep up to date.
You should all now have a password to access your child’s tapestry account; please feel free to add your own photos, comment on staff observations of your child and look at the “home learning suggestions” made to help support your child. Any questions please see a member of staff.
